About the role:

As a Production Integration Technician, your experience and multiple skills will be used within the production team to undertake more complex elements of activities required to complete simulator construction. You will work alongside a team of skilled technicians completing fitting and integration work of assemblies used within the product, general assembly using technical drawings and or specification documents and cable assembly installation.

What the role will involve:

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

• Wire wrapping / soldering, and simulator wiring activities
• Manual lifting as required
• Fork and scissor lift operation
• Slinger / Banksman activities

What you’ll bring

The role of Production Integration Technician requires the following experience and skills:

• Served an apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a suitable manufacturing industry
• Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Technologies or equivalent
• Previous experience in the simulator manufacturing industry would be deisrable
• Experience in integration of complex machinery
• Ability to work under pressure to resolve problems as they arise
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors at all times
• Manual Handling training and Health & Safety training in relation to shop floor working
• Team player, flexible working, open minded, proactive in moving the company forward
• Willing and flexible to visit other L3Harris sites and customer sites, both in the UK and internationally, at short notice
