Production Engineer:

Salary range: £26,000 - £35,000

NOxBOX Ltd: a subsidiary of leading global industrial gases and engineering company Linde, specialises in inhaled nitric oxide delivery and monitoring instruments for the medical market. NOxBOX manufactures and distributes medical ventilators, which can be found in hospitals around the world.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop ongoing product technical file compliance of medical devices, including identifing documentation deficiency’s and develop to compliance.
  • Progress rectification of product lifecycle issues, including:- Electro/mechanical investigation of faults and documenting investigation.
  • Identification and implementation of replacement components due to obsolescence, quality and lead time issues.
  • Support new product development and continuous improvement of medical devices.
  • Support QA and Regulatory affairs on medical device risk management to 14971.
  • Generate and update bills of materials, cable drawings, manufacturing and test instructions.
  • Support Operations in implementing lean manufacturing practices to increase production efficiency.
  • Work with suppliers to develop and improve documentation as required to increase item quality.

Skills Required:

  • Experience of working with medical devices, electro-mechanical systems and production engineering environment
  • Practical experience of mechanical and electronic assembly.
  • Experience in Lean Methodologies both working with and implementation would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Must have a background in electronics and mechanical engineering and can interpret drawings and electronic schematics.
