An international company who develop technology for the Aerospace, Defence, Space, Industrial, Medical and Scientific industries are looking to recruit a Production Engineer to work on some of the highest profile space projects providing support to manufacture.

Duties:

  • Work to existing NPI processes and with Design Engineers to ensure design for manufacture
  • Develop and write procedures for the prototyping of new products
  • Continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes and work instructions
  • Work with the wider production/manufacturing team
  • Produce SAP ME routings from manufacturing flow diagrams
  • Manage operations production and information flow
  • Take the initial engineering lead for all product non-conformances liaising with design where changes are required
  • Provide estimates for new and existing products during the bid phase


Experience:

  • A Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience is essential
  • Must have experience of Production/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience of developing manufacturing processes is required
  • Must have experience of working in a project manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with documented results
  • Flexible and customer-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Must be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail

  • Hours 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday finishing at 4.30pm on Friday.
