We are looking for someone like you to become our all-new Production Coordinator and join our passionate and talented VFX team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.

Production Coordinator role

The Production Coordinator is a new role dedicated to coordinating multiple pipeline steps on our projects. You’ll be working closely with Leads in scheduling and managing the artist group’s work, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. You’ll work closely with Supervisors and Leads to ensure work is on schedule. As part of the VFX team, you will play a key role in tracking client needs, reviews and deliveries and compiling weekly status reports summarising progress, risks and issues.

This role would suit someone with experience in a similar production based environment with solid project management skills.

Key Outcomes

• Act as main point person for organising and running dailies/shot reviews.
• Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership team(s) to help reach solutions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Supervisors and Leads to schedule for all departments, as well as managing dependencies between departments
• Review task assignments and approval status daily (including offsite artists and vendors)
• Work with the team to establish a process for communicating discipline targets, assignments and priorities to overall show crew on a daily and/or weekly basis
• Ensure work is on schedule and is meeting internal as well as external (client) milestones and deadlines
• Check in with artists on a regular basis regarding workload, targets, and needs
• Setup turnovers and communicate turnover information to all artists assigned (for both assets and shots)
• Track client needs, reviews and deliveries
• Work with the team to compile weekly status reports summarising progress, risks and issues
• Anticipate and communicate issues to leadership team(s) to help reach solutions in a timely manner
• Liaise directly with Producer, VFX Supervisor, and Leads
• Act as main point-person for organising and running dailies/shot reviews. Take accurate and thorough notes for feedback and decisions made during meetings and dailies and communicate to all teams involved
• General administration and organisation tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production based environment
• Used to working with tight deadlines
• Project management skills
• Ability to successfully communicate and deal with departments and help manage a diverse team
• Identify and communicate potential problems and offer possible solutions
