Product Owner

As Product Owner the role holder will take responsibility for the development and ongoing enhancements of the relevant product(s). In this position, you will partner with the local Domain Owner and Process Owners to identify, define, analyse, prioritize and refine the backlogs, and will communicate those requirements to the development team
  • Responsible to create, develop and ensure that the Product roadmap supports the overall local Domain roadmap and vision.
  • Freedom to make decisions to drive the direction of prioritised change activity to deliver the best value for the customer.
  • Empowered to be the single point of contact and decision making for the development team.
  • Ensure the necessary change management activities are completed including training, communications and handover activities are completed as deliverables are transitioned into Business As Usual.
  • Lead and manage the team to optimise individual and team performance by developing efficient team structures and constantly challenging and developing associates. Act as a role model for the team, maintain dialogue with all team members and promote and support change within the team and wider business.
  • Degree level qualified or equivalent - relevant degree or comparable experience which demonstrates critical thinking, analysis and financials within/at its core.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence teams and/or people at all levels of the organisation
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects in a cross-functional setting
  • Automotive Finance Industry exposure (desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Can communicate complex topics in easily understandable terms/formats.
  • Strong networking skills, demonstrated ability to influence & challenge at all levels of the organisation.
