JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Manager will be responsible for product management activities (full lifecycle) in the definition, development, commercialisation and in life management of products in line with market requirements and interfaces with sales channels, scientific/ manufacturing teams, regulatory, supply chain functions.

Including but not limited to:

  • Owning and defining the product vision and strategy for the segment, ensuring that this resonates with users, meets user needs and aligns to the company objectives and priorities.
  • Creating the strategic portfolio/product roadmap and communicating it across the business.
  • Leading on customer - Evaluating opportunities and determining what gets built and delivered to customers
  • NPD through a structured ideation process.
  • Develop value proposition and positioning and sales enablement tools

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • responsibilities of the Product manager will be :
  • Identify and satisfy customer requirements and meet the needs of valued business opportunities, related to the relevant products.
  • Maintain a high level of business knowledge relevant to the product portfolio being managed including competitor activity.
  • Develop and implement value proposition/sales plan for relevant products, as defined by the portfolio management team, in a specified region to ensure revenue and gross margin objectives are met by using company defined financial models.
  • Partner with sales channels to drive the product related sales activities with our customers.
  • Work closely with fellow sales team members and promote the sales of the relevant products through joint workdays and training seminars focused on the specific subset of products.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate the collaboration with the account managers (field and inside) when required.
  • Develop and maintain a rounded understanding of the sales positioning of Qnostics and its products specific to your market segment.
  • Use communication and influencing skills to effectively apply internal resources and improve selling time.
  • Work to drive product sales to support supplier partnerships and actively promote core products and value added services.
  • Provide feedback using verbal and written reporting tools to the business on customers, competitor activity, promotions etc., to agreed timescales and in agreed format as advised by your Manager.
  • Review, maintain and manage product compliance : IVDR/ISO13485

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Business along with significant and relevant, industry-specific experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
  • Sales management experience
  • Technical and lab experience in relevant subject.
  • Laboratory experience across a wide range of sectors including pharmaceutical, industrial and academic segments would be an advantage, particularly where there is a sound understanding of the current marketplace for laboratory products.
  • Product specialist knowledge or experience in specialist advisory role.

Skills:

  • Self- starter with excellent collaboration skills
  • Strong written and spoken English skills are required
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
  • Must possess the organisational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
  • Customer focused – able to put themselves into the shoes of the customer and build rapport

SALARY: From 35,000 -Dependent on Experience
