Our client are a growing global supplier and manufacturer that supply into the interior / decorative furnishings sector. They are looking for someone who would ideally have experience working within a similar sector and who can be that person to deliver their growing product range to market.

Its and exciting opportunity to be apart of the introduction of their products to the interiors market as they work with distributors globally.

Job Requirements

  • Generate new products and improvements to existing products and present these business cases to directors.
  • Liaise between sales, engineering, marketing and production departments to see products come to life.
  • Analyse the market and similar products to ensure that the end result differentiates and shows improvements on the existing competitors products within the market.
  • Research pricing and costs to ensure that new lines are meeting revenue and profitability targets.
  • Ensure that all parts of the sales and customer service teams are thoroughly knowledgeable about the products and ranges offered so that maximum information can be provided about the functionality of the product.
  • Forecasting sales and operational requirements so that production departments are able to plan in terms of demand.
  • Continuous market research and act as the advocate for the product both internally and for external sales enquiries.

Job Responsibilities

  • This role will involve occasional travel
  • Previous experience in a Product Manager role and a previous track record of bringing new products to launch that have successfully met expected forecasts.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be part of the sales and marketing team.
  • Previous experience working within Interior / home automation / home appliance sectors.
  • UK Driving licence would also be required.
