Job Title: Estimator
Location: Shipley Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable (DOE)
Hours: 8am -4.30pm Our client, a well-established construction company who have completed commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, and education construction projects are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team on a Permanent basis. The successful candidate ideally will have previously worked as an Estimator and have good industry knowledge of the construction sector. The Role-Comply with health and safety procedures
  • Deliver information regarding company policies and expectations to team members & subcontractors when procuring services.
  • Comply with and ensure that environmental and H&S factors such as; risk assessment, selection criteria, effectiveness and performing monitoring are considered in the selection of all sub-contractors
  • Support, encourage and monitor that information is being communicated and consulted with employees and other interested parties.
  • Use of any safeguarding systems
  • Attending site visits
  • Working alongside Subcontractors and ensuring they have all relevant PPE.
  • Identify training requirements as and when necessary
  • Creation of emergency plan
  • Identify hazards and where necessary carry out a risk assessment
