The Product Planning team within IFS R&D organization is looking for an experienced Financial compliance professional to bring their knowledge, experience and skills to assist planning our product capabilities for global businesses. This team provides intelligence and product prioritization for Globalization, Cross functional Product Management & Business intelligence, and in doing so provides the platform to drive an exceptional customer experience and power revenue growth. As IFS continues to scale as a leader in Business Applications, the scope of our efforts requires a vibrant financial compliance expert to interpret global customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the product experts to understand current financial compliance capabilities
• Generation of a central body of work to share global financial compliance issues
• Research and investigate new compliance measures across our 5 main vertical industries
• Work with the intelligence team to provide information for decision-makers on priorities
• Provide timely input to the product planning cadence for new priority capabilities

Qualifications and Attributes

• Qualified accountant within a reputable professional finance body
• Practical experience of financial controlling and reporting for a large/ global company
• Excellent technical finance knowledge in Sox and IFRS
• Inquisitive forward thinking nature to learn new local GAAP and investigate forthcoming global compliance requirements
• Ability to convert technical knowledge to customer and product capabilities with systems experts
• Open, honest, clear orator to promote the globalization teams interests
• Results oriented with an ability to work diligently in a remote context
