Are you a self-motivated individual with a background in Merchandising and Range Management?

Looking for a fast paced, dynamic role where both analytical and interpersonal skills are required in equal measure?

Do you have at least 1 year of experience using a data visualisation tool such as Power BI or equivalent?

If so, we have an opportunity for an outgoing Product Data Analyst join our Product team here at Dare2b.

The Impact you will have in this role is:

  • UK and European markets are understood, with customer, consumer, competitors, distribution strategies and price positioning continually being developed.

  • Commercial input is understood through communication with sales teams, customers and consumers and data evaluation to deliver correct product mix.

  • The Merchandising team are worked with closely to balance range growth, structure, price point, model and colour count, delivering on KPI’s.

  • Deep dive analytics are performed within a fast-paced and exciting function.

  • Data is interpreted and analysed using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques, to drive business decisions and profitability.

  • Business opportunities are identified using data to propose solutions that will aid decision making.

  • Clear reports are created that tell compelling stories about how customers work with the business and determine product needs.

  • Possible actions are clearly identified and strongly communicated based upon insight.

  • Data is accurate, formatted and presented at the right level during key meetings, with key stakeholders kept informed

  • The Panorama team is worked with to drive BI integration forwards on the product team

  • Information is fed to the Product Manager to maximise range efficiency.

  • Brand Directors are worked with to adapt strategy as necessary based on strategic business decisions.

  • Correct, clear, concise and relevant information is provided across the business as necessary

  • Confident and enthusiastic data interpretation is provided at critical milestone meetings.

  • Product range is improved by responding positively and seeking correct course of action based on any discussion or feedback.

  • Monthly KPI reports are provided to present to Board Directors.

  • Planning is worked alongside to ensure that the range is being delivered at the right place at the right time through stock analysis at the correct margin.

  • Business cases are prepared with product team and sales for any collaboration or new business proposal.

  • The Omni channel sales teams are worked with closely in understanding how the range is performing each sales quarter.

As our future Product Data Analystyou will have:

  • A strong experience using a variety of data analysis methods, data tools, ideally within a clothing Company.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and effectively communicate them to stakeholders

  • Ideally an understanding of outdoor or sportswear clothing products & markets across Europe, or at least an understanding of the general clothing markets

  • Excellent communicator - good presentation skills and ability to listen to and analyse different views and back up strategy with clear and logical perspective

  • Builds great relationships – across teams and at all levels, having the ability to negotiate and communicate ideas but maintaining a clear understanding of commercial constraints

  • Ability to influence – able to guide and present facts persuasively and reach compromise if necessary

  • Good numerical skills – the ability to review, digest & debate data and make compelling strategic decisions as a result

  • Fluent in written & spoken English

  • Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, highly organised with an ability to self-manage workload and deadlines

  • Positive outlook / attitude – ability to manage work / life balance

  • Active interest in exercise / sport and / or outdoor activities and related apparel & equipment

  • Experience utilizing visualization tools to take advantage of the growing volume of available information e.g. BI

  • Computer literate – including strong PowerPoint presentation and Excel, pivot tables.

  • Adherence to Company H&S policies always

  • Responsible for keeping own work area safe and free from hazards
