Are you an experienced office administrator looking for a fixed term contract? Or perhaps you’re looking for your first step in building a career within an office environment?

Looking for a role where you can assist in the daily administrative tasks across a range of head office functions, including product, buying and design?

Do you have strong PowerPoint presentation skills and a good level in Excel?

If so, we have an opportunity for an Office Administrative Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract here at Dare2b.

The Impact you will have in this role is:

Research

  • The product team are assisted with benchmarking across key competitors in the market

  • Seasonal projects such as packaging & swing tickets are assisted with

  • The teams research trips flights/trains etc are booked where needed

  • Marker samples are swatched & New fabric developments are seasonally logged

Range Management

  • All samples for the Product department are managed to get ready for the various key stakeholder meetings, fit meetings & to handover to Marketing in time for shoot dates

  • The showroom is upkept, ensuring all samples are present throughout the sales calendar & the seasonal switch overs are managed

  • A marker sample library is created and managed

  • The product team is assisted with range set up & management on the PLM system

  • All teams are assisted with product bullet generation & checks

  • The system switchover is assisted with & admin support is provided where required

  • Buying range admin support

  • Parcels are posted to XO & BD

  • Pantone management - new swatches are ordered & the design team are assisted in preparing pantones for internal dept meetings

Presentation/Communication/Feedback

  • Correct, clear, concise range update information is provided to the correct people at the right time throughout the calendar

  • Presentation templates are created in line with our Brand tone for key meetings

  • Mood boards and research findings are collated & presented back to the team

  • Confident and enthusiastic market research is provided to help direct the ranges in line with market findings

Meeting Management

  • Models are booked (with guidance from the PD team) for the seasonal fit meetings and meetings are prepared for, ensuring all samples are available

  • Meeting rooms are booked and set up for key strategic meetings. Arranging rooms, samples, refreshments & anything else needed for a smooth running of the meeting.

  • Co-ordinate the Dare 2b product launch arrangement – assisting Product & Marketing with sample management, launch set up & any other duties required

  • Select outfits for mannequin displays at head office & trade shows

As our future Office Administrative Assistant you will have:

  • A strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work on own initiative with confidence to make the right decisions

  • Excellent verbal & written communicator to ensure the correct information & updates reach the right departments at the right time

  • Ability to builds great relationships across teams and at all levels

  • Positive attitude and willingness to get involved in areas outside of role remit

  • Fluent in written & spoken English

  • Experience of managing critical paths would be beneficial

  • Ideally experience working in Sportswear or with clothing

  • Computer literate – including Microsoft outlook, strong PowerPoint presentation skills and a good level in Excel

  • Good numerical skills – the ability to review, digest & debate data and make compelling strategic decisions as a result
