Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable procurement professional looking for a change?

Then we have just the opportunity for you!

We have embarked on an extraordinary journey to create a new museum for London. We will move from our site at London Wall to sit in the heart of Smithfield, one of the capital’s most historic and creative quarters. We form an integral part of the City of London Corporation’s Culture Mile initiative, and are a key part of the Mayor of London’s Culture Strategy for London.

The ‘New Museum Project’ is one of the largest cultural projects in Europe and will transform the museum, Smithfield and the City of London. Further information about the move is available here: http://museum.london/

We are seeking to appoint a Procurement Specialist to help us deliver a world class cultural site. This role is for a confident and proactive individual who can operate independently and is comfortable working in a complex and challenging environment.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the role will be responsible for supporting both ‘business as usual’ and New Museum related procurement. This will involve identifying appropriate procurement routes, working with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring legal/regulatory requirements are met, and providing specialist advice and support in a customer oriented environment.
