Procurement Specialist


This particular role will report in to the Procurement Manager. Provide procurement support to key delivery areas within Great Places, forging strong work relationships and demonstrating delivery area specific understanding and knowledge.


Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:


You will become the “go to” for supply chain guidance within their delivery area, acting as a business partner to support the delivery of goals and outcomes and deliver procurement exercises in line with Great Places procedures and relevant legislation.


You will challenge existing ways of working through the procurement process and support contract management and delivery of outcomes from key suppliers.


Procurement Specialist Requirements


The successful candidate will have CIPS qualifications or evidence of similar experience. You will be confident

planning, organising and delivering complex procurement exercises, managing multiple projects of varying complexity and negotiating and influencing others up to Director level of an organisation.
