Salary; £35,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Location; Hinckley, Leicestershire

Due to an ever-expanding client base, Hard Drive Construction is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their friendly team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Primarily focusing on residential developments throughout the UK, our new Procurement Managerwill be responsible for sourcing products that are essential to the company’s day-to-day and future operations.

As a Procurement Manager, you will review prices, quality, and ensure optimal stock levels alongside our Quantity Surveyor. Other responsibilities will include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and preparing reports (e.g., on orders and costs.) For this Procurement Manager role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you are identifying the most profitable offers.

Ultimately, as our Procurement Manager, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

What we need from our Procurement Manager in return:

  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
  • Hands-on experience with purchasing software
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Solid analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
