Multiple shifts ranging from Days to Weekends to Nights. This permanent position has arisen and gives the chance to work for an organisation that has achieved and is forecasted to continue delivering ambitious growth over the next few years.

The Process Operator will work within a team on a Chemical Manufacturing Plant to safely achieve defined quality standards, within time and to customers specifications. The successful candidate will also need to have had previous experience handling hazardous chemicals.

Main Responsibilities of Process Operator:

  • Ensure that all operational activities associated with batch manufacture and carried out in compliance with the sites Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
  • Participate as required in Design / Hazard reviews.
  • Correctly identify, monitor, and charging of raw materials.
  • Compliant to all SHEQ Policies and Schedules (Housekeeping, Safety Audits etc.)
  • Carryout tasks and duties as and when required including safe service of all plant equipment.

The successful Process Operator must have a minimum of 4 years’ Experience in manual or semi-automated procedures in Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Heavy Engineering Industries. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist in the training and mentoring of other Process Operator staff at different levels.
