An exclusive opportunity has come available for a Facilities Engineer to join a successful manufacturing company that offers comprehensive benefits such as matched pension up to 20% , a private health care plan, 33 days annual leave and an attractive Monday – Friday, days shift to name a few.

This multi-award-winning manufacturer was founded over 20 years ago and is growing year after year, distributing its products across the UK to a variety of companies. This role is based at their state-of-the-art site in Leeds, where you will be part of a fast-paced department with the opportunity to gain experience and undergo specific qualifications if you choose.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Facilities Engineer:

  • Undertaking of electrical works such as electrical PPMS, lighting, fire alarm systems, PAT testing, cabling, and electrical site maintenance.
  • Responsible for building services, internal and external.
  • Site repairs including plumbing, painting, joinery and other ad-hoc duties.

I would be keen to see CVs from individuals who have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a Facilities Engineer, Site Services Engineer, Facilities Electrician, Industrial Electrician or similar role.
  • An electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, BTEC Level 3 or Apprenticeship.
  • Worked in an industrial / manufacturing environment as this would be beneficial but is not essential.
