About us

We are Europe’s No.1 vehicle leasing provider with a clear vision for sustainable mobility. Mobility is as simple as someone moving from point A to point B, however and whenever they choose. We know that for 2021 and beyond, being innovative and creative, developing existing products and introducing new ones quickly into the mix is what our customers want, whilst we also focus on leading the way forward on Climate Action within the mobility industry.

Luckily, at Arval, we have an excellent pedigree in all things mobility, and the launch of our five year plan, Arval Beyond, puts us out in front, leading the way. Find out more about our plan here: Arval Beyond

About the role

This is a fixed to contract (until end of 2021) where you would join the central Process Improvement team and be responsible for driving cross functional process improvements that supports enhanced service delivery, growth, efficiency and other key strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the Process & Organisation Manager, this position will require you to scope, plan and execute various improvement projects across the business. You will be expected to deliver a number of large projects a year whilst also providing training, coaching and support that enables business areas to improve quality and exercise continuous improvement.

You will be involved in projects of varying sizes and complexity, sometimes several at a time. Depending on the project, there may be a need to travel to our other offices in the UK, or to Arval head office in Paris.

Additional duties will include coaching teams in Lean & CI techniques and Visual Performance Management as part of our internal Lean deployment. You will champion the identification, design and delivery of process improvement initiatives and ensure post implementation benefits are monitored and measured.

About you

As a Lean practitioner you will have a number of completed projects in your portfolio that have delivered tangible benefits and change whilst delighting your customer. If this has been in the leasing or finance sectors, then so much the better. You will be a natural networker, able to build strong lasting relationships across all business areas and at all levels, to quickly understand business objectives and priorities. We need someone experienced in applying the principles of Lean, such as 5S, Visual Performance Management, A3 Problem Solving, Flow Management, Waste Reduction and Coaching. You will also be experienced in facilitating workshops to map current and future processes and have the analytical/statistical skills to make recommendations for improvement. Knowledge of Agile and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) would be icing on the cake!

Application process

Successful applicants will be invited via email to complete an automated online video interview so you can tell us all about yourself before we decide who to bring in for a final interview. This can be done on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop at any time of day so gives you complete flexibility. Full instructions and a Hints & Tips video will follow.

What’s in it for you?
