Due to continued growth Next Generation are recruiting for a Process Engineer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Coleshill. As the Process Engineer you will be responsible for implementing process improvements across the clients manufacturing facility, whether it be minimising scrap or optimising methods of manufacture.Shift pattern for the Process Engineer- Monday - Thursday (7.00am - 16.00pm)
  • Friday 7.00am - 12.00pm
    • What’s on offer for the Process Engineer:- Competitive rate of pay up to £38,000 p.a. (DOE)

    • Duties of the Process Engineer:- Analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce scrap, and enhance quality
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimise manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical support to the production team
  • Develop and maintain process documentation including standard operating procedures, work instructions, process flow diagrams, and control plans
  • Conduct process audits and make recommendations for improvement
  • Track process metrics and report on performance to management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers & suppliers
    • The successful candidate for the Process Engineers position will have the following experience:- 3 - 5 year’s experience working as an Process Engineer (Essential).
  • SMED - minimising or reducing change over times (Essential)
  • Proven track record in reducing scrap (Essential)
  • Proven ability and track record using continuous improvement methodologies (Essential)
