Permanent opportunity for a Primary Teacher of SEND.

SEND Teacher - must have experience working with student with additional needs, particularly ASD.

We are looking for teacher with experience working with children with ASD and a range severe and complex learning difficulties.

You need to be empathetic and creative in your approach to managing the learning of sometimes hard to reach learners and be dedicated to making a difference. You will be working with a small group of vulnerable young people who need a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.

This post will need you to be able to plan and prepare teaching resources and deliver them to small groups or on a 121 basis and you must be comfortable with challenging behaviour.

The role will be permanent for the right person.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate commitment and dedication, along with passion for working with children.

Applicants Must Have
  • QTS (qualified teacher status).
  • Proven track record of working with children with challenging behaviour, ASD and PMLD.
  • Strong SEND experience
  • Excellent classroom control and behaviour management
  • Excellent teaching ability
These posts are open to NQT’s with proven track record of working with pupils with SEND and Good to Outstanding observations.
