A role has become available within an established, busy manufacturing Company in the Birmingham area, for an experienced Press Setter.This is a well-established business, with plenty of ongoing and new work, giving this role a great amount of stability. The working environment is fast-paced, dynamic, challenging! But highly rewarding.2 shift patterns available - Double days (alternating earlies and lates), or dedicated Nights (rates on this advert, do not include the night shift allowance, that would be on top)Commutable from:Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Solihull, Aston, Moseley, Smethwick, Walsall, Minworth, Stourbridge, Halesowen and WillenhallBenefits For Press Setter
  • £32,000 - £37,000
  • Early and late shifts Mon - Friday
  • 25 Days holiday (Stats on top)

DUTIES OF PRESS SETTER
  • To have the ability to set Presses - Transfer and Progression
  • Basic Maintenance
  • To operate FLT and Overhead Crane
  • To have the ability to run complex plant equipment.
  • First off and last off inspections
Requirements Of Press Setter
  • It is essential that you have significant experience with setting Presses - Transfer and Progression
  • Ideally, within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • SMED trained.
  • FLT and / or crane certification
  • To be able to run complex plant equipment.
  • ROSPA certification
  • To have the ability to work unsupervised.
  • For Team Leader level - Train the Trainer Qualification
  • LEAF completion or equivalent
  • Demonstrable knowledge of problem-solving methodology
