My client is a leading building, construction and civil engineering contractor with traditional values who are all about people. They have grown organically and go about their business very quietly, winning work at the right price with the right clients, securing more work due to their quality delivery and reputation.
My client has powered through what has been a difficult year for many and they have unexpectedly come out stronger. This goes back to the loyalty of their clients and staff and the key client relationships that they hold.
Their current brief is for a Pre-Construction Manager to work on predominantly industrial, shed and logistics projects, but this could also look at other sectors of construction from time to time. Projects will range from £10M-£100M in value.
Ideally, my client is looking for someone that has an engineering/project management background or possibly a design background - someone that understands buildability and how to manage teams of people. Approach is also very important as you will be the lead on client interviews.
