We’re looking fora Pre-Construction Managerto join ourMinistry of Justice Construction Services Framework Team based inBasingstoke. Within this role, you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, Company Car OR Car Allowance, Private Healthcareand even more.


Location: Basingstoke - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent, Full time – flexible hours available if desired, just let us know

Hours:Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm


Responsibilities

As a Pre-Construction Manager, you’ll be working within the Ministry of Justice Team, supporting them across their diverse portfolio of projects including a mixture of construction and refurbishment schemes of values up to £5m.

Your day to day will include:

  • Management and coordination of the pre-construction activities of either traditional or design and build projects once awarded via the framework.
  • leading a small pre-construction team to ensure the pre-construction programme and milestones are met.
  • Site visits to view the project during the pre-construction stage and engage with designers and supply chain partners as necessary to inform the detailed design and pricing process.

What are we looking for?

This role of Pre-Construction Manager is great for you if:

  • Have previous pre-construction experience on projects up to £5m
  • Membership of a relevant body (CIOB, APM, CIAT, RICS)
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients, customers and suppliers

We encourage flexible working wherever possible in your role - and this may allow you to work from home or from one of our other offices/sites, if appropriate. The MoJ pre-construction team is based in the Basingstoke office and covers southern England so frequent travel to attend site visits will be required.
