We’re currently partnered with a growing accountancy practice based near Richmond. Due to an increasing workload they’re looking to recruit a practice manager to take on some responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have worked within accountancy practices before and will be office-based.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, from engaging with clients to managing staff workloads. It is not necessary for the candidate to be fully qualified, however the candidate must be able to take charge of the company accounts.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all HR functions, such as recruitment matters, staff appraisals and employment contracts Documenting client workflows Engaging with clients and liaising with technical content writers Allocating work to staff Maintaining and monitoring job progress, including turnaround times on each job Scheduling and issuing newsletters, LinkedIn articles and using social media accounts Transferring office accounts to a cloud accounting software Responsible for office accounts Knowledge of preparing and running payroll Issuing invoices to clients Credit control Ad hoc duties
