We recognise that our workforce is our most valuable resource and this post offers a great opportunity for you to develop and support the provision of high quality practice learning opportunities for social workers in training within CYPFS. You will contribute to the provision of excellent social work through the training and development of social workers in the in Hull and Humber region, so that on qualification they are equipped to begin practice and able to meet the needs of children and families using statutory services.
You will make a significant contribution to the Humber Social Work Teaching Partnership, in particular those elements which are focused on the recruitment and retention of social workers through the provision of practice learning opportunities - supporting students and practice educators across CYPFS.
You will facilitate and coordinate our Apprenticeship schemes relevant to the CYP&F service and those on Step Up Programmes and other fast track routes into the profession.
In addition you will co-ordinates and analyses the workforce development needs of the Service through regular CPD audit, and work alongside the Principal Social Worker to manage a continuous professional development framework which supports the social work standards and knowledge and skills statements for staff at all levels in the Service.
