Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 p/a
Location: Huddersfield Shifts: 39 Hours per Week, Flexibility required, standard hours between 7:30am-16:30pm Monday
  • Thursday; Early Finish Friday (Overtime available as required) Benefits: Cost of Living Bonuses, Friendly working environment Permanent Stafflex are currently working with a well-established sub-contract business, who specialise in the designing and manufacturing of high quality engineering components for a broad range of industries. To help achieve this, we are currently looking to recruit a well-motivated and enthusiastic Supervisor to lead the paint/powder coat department - and join the team at the earliest opportunity. Job role The applicant should be looking to establish a long-term career with an expanding business, in excellent working conditions. The successful applicant will be flexible in ensuring that customer needs are met by working to high-quality standard, organising production flow and implementing a continuous improvement. Experience within Powder Coating / Paint Spraying is essential, as the successful candidate will be involved in training and developing the current team and any new starters within the department. Day-to-Day responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the running of the paint shop and powder line operates in an efficient manner.
  • Supporting the production line and supervising and monitoring team performance.
  • Working toward KPI’s and Production targets.
  • Attending, reporting and inputting in production meetings.
  • Creating work instructions and repeatable processes for staff.
  • Generate daily plans.
  • Ensure safe handling and quality is upheld.
  • Retain efficient running of the paint line.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and consumables are kept within minimum stock requirement.
  • Liaise with department on any quality issues. Minimum requirements:
  • 5+ Years’ Experience in Paint Spraying/Powder Coating Ideal experience:
