Knowledge and experience Essential criteria Comprehensive knowledge of project management and/or health information systems development.Knowledge and understanding of the planning and Delivery processExperience in communications and stakeholder engagementPrevious experience in similar role in public sector.A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it. Desirable criteria Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services. Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.Further training or significant experience in project management, financial management or supporting change management processes. Skills and capabilities Essential criteria Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workloads against conflicting demandsEuropean Computer Driving Licence or evidence of proficiency in MS Office productsEvidence of success in effective project and programme management Communication skills Essential criteria Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiencesSkills for communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.Skills for nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks Analytical skills Essential criteria Ability to analyse and interpret information, pre-empt and evaluate issuesProblem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demandsStrategic and independent thinking ability to anticipate.
