Empowering Learning are pleased to be representing a mainstream primary school in Harbury who are looking for a Playworker on a long-term basis to work within the before and after school club. The position will be to start in September and will be ongoing. The hours will be part time and as follows. Tuesday 7:15-9:00 and 15:00-18:00 and Wednesday 15:00-18:00.

The school is one form entry and is a small village school. The Head Teacher is looking for a playworker will a ’can-do’ attitude and passion for helping children achieve.

The school is rated ’Good’ by Ofsted in its last inspection and is striving to reach ’Outstanding’ with the dedication and hard work of the staff. The Teachers and Teaching Assistants are a close-knit team so the preferred candidate should have a friendly and a positive attitude.

What you’ll need to succeed
Level 2 TA qualification preferably At least 6 months experience working with children Be passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and be enthusiastic in your approach To be supportive, positive and caring Driving is not essential but is desirable.
