Special Needs Teaching Assistant Needed in Orpington Empowering Learning are currently working with a Special Needs School in Orpington. They are seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to work in with pupils from the ages of 5 to
  • The role is to begin ASAP and will there may be an opportunity to continue in September 20
  • The school are ideally looking for an individual who has previous experience working with children with behaviour issues. You must also be confident with your behaviour management and happy to completely commit to the role as continuity is key for the school and for the children. Arrival time is 8:30 and you should be done by 3:
  • The school are looking for an individual that is:
  • Experienced working with children with various types of SEN (They are specifically keen on behaviour support specialists).
  • Dedicated and passionate about education and helping children with Special Needs to be the best version of themselves.
  • Able to commit for the duration of the placement. Continuity is massively important it will otherwise unsettle the pupils.
  • Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning.
  • Honest, compassionate and down to earth.
  • DBS checked or happy to complete one (You will get a refund after 20 days worked at the school). The successful applicant will benefit from:
  • Competitive daily rates of pay (Between £75 and £85 a day- Depending on experience).
  • Ongoing CPD training that the agency pay for
  • Working alongside a supportive team as well as a fantastic SLT
  • Having a designated and committed consultant to support you through your role
