Role Purpose
The role is responsible for Client Account Central Platform delivery. The Platform Operations Director drives the business by managing all central functions including Engineering, ESS, EHS, Workplace Experience, Sourcing, Finance, Technology & BI, HR, and Transformation being the key enabler for successful project delivery at sites as well as continuous improvement in program efficiency and quality.

This role is the key number two role in the regional account structure working in close partnership with the Global Account Director.

The Platform Operations Director is integral to supporting the Regional Director to drive and deliver a high level of client satisfaction, establishing and managing the central team, delivering key regional initiatives as well as ensuring regional consistency in processes, systems and reporting. The role also ensures efficient and consistent E2E delivery and client reporting to meet contractual obligations, achieving the Desired Outcomes and Objectives of the account.

What this job involves

Provide effective contract governance to ensure that all sites deliver to the objectives and performance measures of the contract.
Ensuring that all staff are aware of, and comply with, their responsibilities under the contract with particular emphasis on the schedule, cost, compliance, communication, handover management, technology and BI as well as document control.
Implement, manage, enhance, and monitor the delivery of core platform functions supporting the platform, e.g Engineering, ESS, EHS, Workplace Experience, Sourcing, Finance, Technology & BI, HR, and Transformation
This position will interact with the client team to ensure implementation of best-in-class solutions/ strategies/processes/governance/technology and operating procedures.
Ensure program is meeting all its delivery and commercial targets
Responsible for all project commercial and procurement activities on the account
Ensure key project milestones are being met across all sites by platform SME’s
Standardization and development of process using advanced tools
One point of contact for platform / operations
Manage Regional Functional Leads/Subject Matter Experts (SME) work streams to support the delivery teams across the region
Ensure consistent processes & tools applied regionally including but not limited to tendering, change management, scheduling, quality control and quantity surveying and monitor compliance
BI – data/dashboard management to enable strategic decisions
Support the Regional Director to drive and achieve desired outcomes and objectives and objectives for the account including P&L, contract, risk, enhanced commercial/operational value to the client
Direct responsibility to ensure account is meeting all its KPI’s, related to schedule, costs, and quality
Pipeline and headcount planning and client alignment
Milestone and cashflow management in liaison with Finance Manager
Ownership of Technology/Innovation roadmap/implementation plans to enable achieving Desired Outcomes and Objectives
Contract owner/liaison for both client and JLL teams
Training and Development for Program staff in liaison with HR Business Partner

Experience
Essential – experience in working in construction projects environment across the key accountability areas, i.e. PMO, cost management and procurement, risk management, quality
Essential- experience of direct management of employees
Preferred – hands-on experience in managing large scale projects budgets
Preferred – hands-on experience in managing and overseeing large scale program schedules for multiple projects
Preferred – hands-on experience in supply chain / procurement roles
Preferred – hands-on experience in management of large contracts with close interface to Legal departments, risk management
Preferred – hands-on experience in managing sub-contractors claims
