Platform / DevOps Engineer (Jnr-Mid Level) – SaaS - Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform

Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a strong Jnr-Mid Level DevOps / Platform Engineer to join a well-established team SaaS company based in Guildford. This hire is part of a period of transformation across the business as they build a brand new Platform team to help expand their product through a series of Greenfield and innovative Cloud and Container driven projects.

Thanks to a successful period of growth, which included accelerating the scalability of their platform, the company are now looking to build out a new Platform team which will work in unison with their Development team, and help assist / support them in their efforts to scale the product. As such, this is a great opportunity for a Jnr-Mid Level Engineer to have some autonomy in their next role, work fast-paced interesting projects, whilst also being mentored and supported by Senior level Engineers across the broader Platform and Development teams.

The ideal candidate will have ~1-3 years DevOps / Platform experience, whilst being able to code and work independently across an embedded tech function. Below is the required experience for this opportunity:

  • Cloud experience with Azure (other Cloud backgrounds will be considered)
  • Container work with Docker and Kubernetes
  • IaC with Terraform or Bicep
  • CI/CD work with Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on experience with C# / .Net

This role can offer a salary of £45-60K, alongside benefits, and operates a flexible working model (office presence required just 1 day per week).
