Peopleforce Recruitment Production Planning Manager Here at Peopleforce we are pleased to present a new opportunity for a Production Planning Manager. This will be joining a global healthcare business, working within the Manufacturing Scheduling department of specialist medical devices. For this role, you will be working within a highly regulated environment and ensuring that wider production planning activities take place in a functional manner. Whilst doing this you will manage the development of your team. This role will see you:-Working on succession planning and training your team to enable progression internally
  • Looking into and working on sales and operations planning (S&OP) that meets the needs and requirements of the production ongoings
  • Proactively scheduling and introducing new programs to enable smooth transitions for new production and or products
  • Carrying out planning modules for the overall processes and procedures for the Manufacturing Facility
  • Working with and communicating to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring that processes are compliant
  • Ordering materials that are needed, and therefore overseeing stock levels
  • Being responsible and accountable for the team For a successful application you will have:
  • Ability to provide detailed examples of introducing and executing planning processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Significant experience working within a regulated environment
  • Preferably degree qualified in an engineering or technical subject
  • Proficient with S&OP and presenting new ideas, with key previous working history examples
  • Knowledge and comfortability of stakeholder management
  • Worked on providing a natural succession plan for employees
