King’s College Hospital NHS foundation trust is looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Receptionist/Patient Navigator for our PIU Infusions Team. This post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to be a part of a busy team. The work involves providing a high quality clerical support to the medical and nursing staff on the unit. To be responsible for dealing with patient queries, the scheduling of patient treatments and meeting and greeting of patients and visitors attending the department.

The successful candidate must have experience of performing reception and administrative duties in an NHS or private hospital setting, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work well in a team and take instructions from several sources. We are looking for someone who can multitask, have strong admin abilities and can prioritise their own workload.

Familiar with I.T. packages, excellent interpersonal skills, have a good telephone manner with the ability to take clear messages and perform general office duties. ECDL or proven equivalent experience in MS packages. You will have a good general education and have a keen eye for detail. A willingness to learn and develop skills will be positively encouraged. You will become part of an enthusiastic team and will play an instrumental part in the smooth running of the department.
