Job Description

Coinford are looking for experienced Pipelayers/Pipelaying Gangs to start on our project in Minster, Isle of Sheppey, Kent. You must be fully skilled in laying all aspects of deep drainage.

You will perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints.

Good rates all long term positions with Coinford.

Main Duties Include Accountability For The Following
  • Reviewing enquiry documentation
  • You will need to be able to work use and set up Trench Boxes, Drag Boxes, and Manhole Boxes
  • Lay Concrete, Clay, Plastic Pipes
  • Manage ground water setting up correct size pump for the job in hand
  • Ensuring pipes are tested and laid on correct bed and surround
  • Ensuring backfilling to trenches is correct
This will be a traditional build groundworks project, so the ideal candidates will be fully skilled in all aspects of residential groundworks operations relating to their respective trade. Please register your interest asap.

  • CSCS Card Skilled Worker
  • Confined Space Tickets
Skills/Experience
  • To be able to work from drawings
  • An excellent communicator
  • Able to work as part of a team yet willing to work independently
  • At least 3 years’ Experience needed
