This is your opportunity to join Babcock as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI). You will be working within a team of four Physical Training Instructors to provide physical training instruction to Army Soldiers. This will include gymnasium lessons, outdoor PT and runs and also the setting up sporting events.


Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PTI who is self-motivated with a flexible approach to work. You will need to be committed to excellent service delivery, with good organisation and communication skills.

What will you be doing?
As a Physical Training Instructor you will

  • Provide assistance to military PTIs.
  • Instruct physical training activities.
  • Originate and assist in producing lesson plans in response to the PT programme.
  • Assist the Medical Officer in rehabilitation training.
  • Produce fitness programmes for authorised personnel.
  • Maintain a high level of personal fitness

The experience you’ll bring
  • Ex-Military PTI or recognised civilian gymnasium instruction qualification essential.
  • High level of personal fitness is essential.
  • We would like you to have general Health and Safety awareness
  • You will need to hold a full UK Driving licence
  • You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving ‘Security Check’ (SC) clearance and a DBS check.
