Let us describe our offer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and people focused People Experience Apprentice. Reporting to the People Experience (PX) Lead and working closely with the PX Coordinator and PX Business Partners you will be responsible for providing administrative support across the UK business and all local employees. This role is vital for the operational efficiency of the business and you will be involved with the day-to-day administration and coordination of all PX processes and systems.


What you’ll do
You’ll need excellent communication and organisation skills and a desire to work within the HR support function, and and the automotive industry.


Working closely with the PX Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating new starter packs, contracts of employment, change to contract letters & leaver letters
  • New starter administration
  • Maintaining and updating the HR database
  • Ensure all employee files are kept up to date
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Frontline support to all internal customers
  • Employee benefits administration
  • Coordinating team offsite meeting and any adhoc room bookings
  • Maintaining organisation charts
  • Supporting payroll processes
  • Reference letters
  • Effectively liaising with partner areas of the business to ensure optimum employee experience
  • Supporting the maintenance of the sickness absence tracker
  • Updating information on employee SharePoint


Required skills/experience:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
  • The ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritise tasks and workload
  • The ability to accept and understand instructions
  • Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Confident ability to handle queries and request in an effective and appropriate manner
  • Reliability, honesty and good time management
  • IT literacy – knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work well independently and to contribute as part of a team, with a supportive attitude to colleagues
  • Adapts to a fast paced working environment
  • GCSE 4 / Grade C and above in Maths and English
