We are looking for an experienced People Experience Business Partner to join us at Study Group. In this exciting, newly created job, you’ll provide a full Business Partnering service to support the transformational work taking place across the business.

The role will see you play a critical part in helping to shape our business for future growth, and enabling the wider business to achieve its objectives. As the job holder you’ll be working initially with some highly influential stakeholders / peers to support the delivery of high-profile local and Global projects, whilst building an understanding of this exciting Global business, & in order to move into a true and credible Business Partner role, supporting some of the Global functions .

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering
In this job you’ll partner with some of our global Leadership Teams to drive business performance through the provision of People Experience guidance on the full range of people issues, including:

  • Organisation Design and Workforce Planning
  • Employee Engagement and Communications 
  • Performance Management, Learning and Development, including Leadership Development 
  • Employee Relations
  • Drive the delivery of the organisation’s people plan which support the wider Company strategic objectives
  • Lead on organisation restructuring activities as required to improve efficiency and clarity of roles and responsibilities and related organisation change activities
  • Provide coaching and counsel to leaders on managing difficult situations, encouraging the development of their own leadership skills  
  • Identify opportunities to drive cultural change across the business in pursuit of delivering excellent business outcomes
  • Support the embedding of People Experience policies and processes so that they are fit for purpose

Operational Excellence 

  • Work collaboratively with the People Experience Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Experience Operations, Corporate Communications) to successfully deploy key People Experience initiatives and processes to drive business performance / engagement 
  • Support the delivery of compliance initiatives (some led by People Experience, others by the business) designed to ensure that the business is meeting their regulatory and compliance obligations   
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operational People Experience processes or improve their execution using business feedback, improved HRIS leverage and/or line manager education

Qualifications and Experience required

To do this job you’ll ideally:

  • Have demonstrated experience as a HR Business Partner in a commercially focussed organisation, with some experience of working in a matrix organisation (preferably global)
  • Experience of delivering and supporting organisation change
  • A good working knowledge of UK employment law environment & experience in the same
  • Exposure to overseas legal environments (e.g Middle East, North America) would be helpful but not essential
  • Be a strong and confident communicator, who is able to build strong stakeholder relationships, and trust / confidence in the People Experience function
  • Demonstrate resilience, change management experience / or understanding, and a personal focus which is high on delivery and achievement
