We have an exciting opportunity to join the Students Union as a Peer Support Co-ordinator, working with students and staff to ensure Peer Mentoring and PAL schemes (Peer Assisted Learning) run successfully across the University.

The role will allow you to work with a diverse range of students, including recruiting and training Student Leaders, as well as develop new and existing opportunities and ways of recognising the hard work of these volunteers during the year.

The Peer Support Co-ordinator will lead on the development of strong working relationships with stakeholders, including students and academic and professional service colleagues. You will help facilitate the sharing of good practice within the University of Bath and with local and international institutions.

We are looking for someone who is confident in mentoring students, delivering training to large groups as well as one-to-one, networking with a range of stakeholders. You will also be able to think on your feet and use your initiative to problem solve in response to different situations

As a Co-ordinator within The SU, you will also be responsible for building links with other departments, managing budgets, contributing to the development of annual plans, supporting the delivery of The SU strategy, and championing the values and cause of the organisation.
