Payroll Assistant / Worthing / Accountancy

Client Details

A respected bureau based in the Worthing area are seeking a Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis.

Description

As Payroll Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payroll
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding P45, P46, P11D and P60’s and CIS returns
  • Administration of pension schemes and auto enrolment
  • Communicating effectively with clients
  • Year end processing
  • PAYE/NI reconciliations
  • Processing of SSP, SMP, SPP
  • Payroll corrections

Profile

  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Be confidence to communicate to clients and authorities
  • Be able work within the existing structure of the team
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
