Client Details

As a finance analyst you will report directly into the business controller.

Based just outside of Nottingham center this company are a well known with 230 locations across the globe.

We are looking a driven individual that wants to progress in their career.

Description

* Analyse sales and margin, sales and purchase prices variances, reporting any deviations from plan with suggested actions to deliver budget
* Update and monitor standard costing in all the systems
* Support preparation and submission of budgets and forecast and analysis of deviations
* Analyse management initiatives to minimise risk and maximise return including reporting of savings from lean management improvements
* Maintaining robust and efficient processes and controls
* To support internal controls and both, internal and external, audit

Profile

* Part Qualified or QBE
* Proven experience in manufacturing, managing standard costing and supporting budgets and forecast
* Strong communication skills
* Analytically minded
* Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
* Computer literate (SAP, Navision, All Microsoft packages)
* Ability to meet deadlines

Job Offer

The salary offering for this role is around the £35,000 - £40,000 mark.

As noted in the above you must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
