Our client, based in Caterham are looking for an experienced full time Payroll Administrator to join their friendly practice, who can work efficiently within a small team, with excellent attention to detail. While the focus is on payroll, there is an increasing need from their client base wanting more help with bookkeeping, so this is a growth area within the practice. Required
  • You will have at least 2 - 3 years payroll experience on several payroll packages, IRIS payroll desirable, and use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Capable of processing weekly and monthly payroll for clients
  • Upload monthly pension contributions to various Pension providers
  • Completion and submission of payroll year end for client
  • Desirable a professional payroll qualification
  • You have a clear verbal and written communication skills to retrieve and communicate specific information internally and externally
  • You have strong organisational skills with ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure Your role will include:
  • Managing all aspects of payroll for clients
  • Submission of subcontractor CIS returns and CIS suffered
  • Pension
    • calculations and submissions Additional Bookkeeper responsibilities:
  • Experience with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with Clients over the phone and by email on bookkeeping and VAT queries.
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure. Package:
  • Basic £30,000 – 35,000 (pro rata) depending on experience and desired work pattern
  • 22 days holidays + BH
  • Pension
  • Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.15pm
