A developed care company have approached the Network Professional team in sourcing a talented Payroll Administrator for their offices based just outside the New Forest on the Hampshire-Dorset border. The company in question have over 20 sites situated across Southern England and are looking to continue their accelerated growth and presence across additional counties. With many of their homes being situated in rural and idyllic locations, the company ensure that employees, as well as residents are looked after to high standards, as witnessed with CQC ratings of ’outstanding’ and ’good’.

Your roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responsibility for processing the organisation’s payroll in a timely and accurate manner on a weekly basis
  • Extracting information from the roster system to transfer into the Opera payroll system accurately
  • Creating and maintaining employee payroll records, calculating wages and making appropriate deductions based on employee attendance records
  • Entering payroll information into a central system with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Issuing employee checks and earnings summaries and confidently creating and running payroll reports.
  • Additional duties will include:
  • Dealing with payroll queries internally and externally
  • Investigating any payroll discrepancies and keeping up-to-date with company tax obligations, employee contributions and application of company benefits, annual leave and other absences

What you will need to apply:

This role is ideal for individuals who have prior experience in payroll and are looking to challenge themselves by processing in-house payroll for a total of 2000 employees, with assistance from 2 other Payroll Administrators. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong mathematical skills, show excellent attention to detail and be capable of managing payroll with a weekly deadline. As a confident decision maker, you’ll be able to handle payroll queries using excellent communication skills and sound knowledge of payroll matters. Furthermore, applications for this role would be beneficial towards individuals who possess strong knowledge of Payroll software and Microsoft Applications, especially Excel.
