We’re looking for a Chef de Partie paying a salary of 26k-28k plus tronc, for this fabulous Country house hotel with 2 AA rosettes We are located in Hereford The Highlights of this Chef de Partie role in Hereford are: Mix of Lunch Service, Afternoon Tea, Fine Dining & Wedding & Events Catering Working Within a Small Dedicated Team in a Family Run Business Sourcing & Working With Fantastic Fresh Local Produce Company Overview: An award winning Hotel & Events venue in the Wye Valley, near Ross on Wye and Hereford, an area of outstanding natural beauty, operating with a small, efficient and friendly team. We have an excellent local and industry reputation with outstanding reviews. The Hotel has won 2 wedding awards and the restaurant has held 2 AA rosettes for 6 years.

We are in an enviable location for fresh local produce and open to experimentation on new, innovative or trending ideas. It is imperative that our culinary offer is commensurate with every other aspect of the venue and our team is highly talented chef’s work incredibly hard to deliver a truly unique experience, where food is prepared from finest local ingredients. Chef de Partie Requirements in Hereford are: Generation of menu ideas based around food trends - an opportunity to exhibit creative flair Be flexible to work on all sections as required and have the ability to train and support junior chefs on each section Have good kitchen management skills and be committed to providing a high level of cuisine and service at all times Already have good experience in a high-quality kitchen Work closely with the Head Chef and deputise when required Chef de Partie Experience/Skills in Hereford are: Will be able to provide a first-class service to the guests.

Feels comfortable, and confident, as a Leader Has much experience of cooking with fresh ingredients Rosette experience preferred, but not essential as we can provide excellent training and development. Will follow policies and procedures Be happy to attend further training Works well within a Team, as well as independently.
