Overview of role

Our parts departments and teams are one of the most important areas in our business, which is why we are looking for a commercially astute Parts Manager to join and lead our exceptional people and oversee the department. You’ll have previous experience in a similar role and come with a great track record of success in delivering results. As you’ll be working alongside our wider Aftersales team, you’ll also possess great communication and teamwork skills.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
  • Develop and execute the Parts department business plans in order to achieve the agreed financial objectives, customer satisfaction standards, marketing activity and sales targets.
  • Contribute as a member of the management team to the development of the business and to the public relations activities of the dealership
  • Monitor continuously the achievement of Customer Service levels and provide effective support to Service and Car Sales Departments. Identify problems, agree and take corrective action where required including personnel training, new operating procedures, discipline, etc.
  • Utilise monthly management accounts to monitor and control profitability and productivity of the Parts Department
  • Establish control systems for all departmental resources, material, financial and personnel, and monitor continuously all factors affecting the achievement of plans
  • Ensure that all Company and manufacturer’s disciplines, procedures and reporting analysis are strictly adhered to
Desired Skills & Experience
  • PLC experience is desirable, as is brand experience working with premium or prestige brands
  • Experience delivering an above budget financial performance
  • Experience in leading a team in a high pressure environment.
  • Ability to priories effectively in a commercial environment
