Being a CAREGiver at Home Instead is an opportunity to change somebody's life for the best. Independence is often something we take for granted, you would either be helping an elderly person in their own home remain in their home independently for, hopefully, the rest of their life. Do you have spare mornings and offer flexibility every other weekend to help support our clients in Bedlington and the surrounding areas? If yes, then we would love to hear from you!

Now For The Requirements
  • A caring and compassionate nature is a must
  • We are looking for fantastic CAREGivers with availability in the mornings
  • We ask that all CAREGivers MUST hold a driving licence and have access to a car - your client may need to be taken to the shops or an appointment at some point.
  • You must complete 3 days of development. This comprehensive award-winning training is free and highly valuable to your role as a CAREGiver. PLEASE NOTE: We are delivering this while adhering to social distancing guidelines and holding part of this virtually.
  • Depending on your client's needs, there may be some personal care required. This could be as simple as helping them button up their shirt or reach their feet for them to put their socks on.

Well, because we believe we are the best care provider, providing the best service, we want the best CAREGivers so we give the best rates of pay for home care!

Depending on time of day and if it is a weekend or weekday; the rates range from £10.00 to £10.50 an hour. Bank holidays are double rate! We also pay mileage, travel and waiting time.
