Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is a leading independent builders’ merchant based across the South West of England. We now have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Van Driver to join the team at our Bridport branch, working between 15 and 20 hours a week.

You will be working in a busy, fast-paced environment, driving our Express Van and carrying out multi-drop deliveries to our customers. No two days are the same; you may be delivering to customers across the local area or working in our busy yard, helping to serve customers and load orders. This is a key role in the branch team, helping to ensure our customer orders are fulfilled. With responsibility for vehicle safety, including safe loading and for ensuring road and traffic legislation is followed at all times, you must able to work unsupervised and be able to provide a great service to our customers.

Our Express Van Drivers are the face of our business, so it’s important to us that you have a positive approach to our customers and customer service. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of team and is also happy to work on their own, with little supervision. More importantly, we are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who loves interacting with customers. The successful applicant will hold a full, clean driving licence and have a minimum of 1-year’s driving experience. Prior experience of working in a merchant environment or similar, along with a valid forklift licence would be great but it’s not essential.
