Directorate: Corporate Resources – Facilities Management
Hours: 20 hours per week (work an average of 5 days per week) hours to be discussed at interview
Contract: Permanent
Location: Mobile

As a Cleaner you will be responsible for supporting our service delivery, ensuring that the building is cleaned and maintained to the required standards. This will be achieved by ensuring that all areas within the site are safely, effectively and efficiently dealt with in accordance with work schedules and the training provided.

You will be working across the city at various sites which could include libraries, Children’s centre, Assessment Hubs (in partnership with the NHS), Derby Arena and public buildings to deliver a high standard of cleaning; therefore having a driving licence and your own transport is essential, Business insurance is required for this post.

The post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out their cleaning duties.

This is an extremely important role as it is at the very front end of our service delivery. As such it is necessary that you are able to work individually or as part of a team, maintaining levels of cleanliness to the required standards.
