The Role

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Part Time Cleaning Operative for 20 hours per week, to ensure that the overall standard of cleaning is maintained to a good standard throughout the School (Highlands School)

Duties/Key Responsibilities

  • To comply with the service level agreement.
  • To ensure appropriate PPE/Uniform are always used during working hours.
  • Emptying waste bins
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks etc.
  • Cleaning of classrooms, offices and tea points.
  • Advising Manager of materials/equipment required, ensuring stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements
  • To take instruction and advice from the Facilities Manager, Site Lead and Cleaning Supervisor
  • Deep cleaning and use of cleaning chemicals

Skills Required

  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Cleaning experience in a school environment would be preferred

As this role will involve working in schools, confirmation of appointment will be subject to a completion of a Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS)
