Our client based in Ripon, Melmerby is currently looking to recruit a Part Time Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced bookkeeper to join the team on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities Include

Bank reconciliation

Purchase ledger

Sales ledger

Credit control chasing overdue payments, producing of debtor reports

Taking payments over the phone

VAT Returns

Payroll, including auto enrolment and RTI would be a huge advantage if you could do this

Maintaining all records on Xero

This is an excellent role for an experienced bookkeeper or assistant accountant who is looking for 1 2 days work (hours can be flexible but the role will be office based). They are looking for an individual who has a can-do attitude, you will ideally have a varied accounts background and be confident working on your own as well as part of a team.

A driving license and car are also essential due to the nature of our client’s location.

In return they are offering an hourly rate of £12 - £15/hour for the right candidate!
