The opportunity

Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team of professionals in our London office. You will be an integral part of the personal injury team, supporting Solicitors in handling cases, preparing for hearings and meetings.

You will be a team player with the ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships and will be keen to engage in marketing and business development opportunities. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to progress to working on more complex clinical negligence/serious injury cases.

The role

As a Paralegal you will have experience or a good theoretical understanding of legal issues with an understanding of and some experience of how a case is run from beginning to end. You should have an understanding of clinical negligence and be able to assist in evaluating cases and identifying issues from the medical records, to instructing experts. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, hardworking, able to prioritise and have a keen eye for detail.

A day in the life of a Paralegal is never the same, however a typical day may include calculating special damages, liability investigations, reviewing medical records, undertaking legal research, attending court and attending on clients, witnesses, experts and Counsel.
