Hammonds, the UK’s largest choice of fitted furniture company has opportunities for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join the Production Department in Hinckley. We are offering our Paint Sprayer a competitive salary (further increases in salary can be achieved through the successful completion of training and targets/objectives).

Hammonds Furniture Ltd currently manufacture over £1,500,000 worth of luxury bedroom and office furniture per week from the manufacturing sites in Hinckley.

We have an immediate vacancy available for an experienced Paint Sprayer. The vacancy is working on our day shift; the working hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.

The role entails Manually spraying small batches of parts by hand. Therefore, previous hand spraying experience is essential for this position.

You will be using the skills of hand spraying to spray furniture components and these must be to a high standard to ensure a consistent and professional finish is achieved.

Within our factories we work to ISO 18001 2007 (Health and Safety) and ISO 9001 2008 (Quality) standards and part of the role will be to ensure all documentation is completed within the required timescales.

Ideally; we are seeking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer that have either worked within a furniture manufacturing environment as a sprayer or worked within the automotive industry and have paint or body-shop automated coating or hand finishing experience.

The successful Paint Sprayers will also have the following skills and attributes:
  • NVQ or equivalent in processing
  • A minimum of 2 years hand spraying and or CNC paint line experience
  • Self-discipline, a good communicator, quality conscious and be a flexible team player
  • An excellent attitude towards work with the ambition to learn new skills
Reliability and timekeeping are key to our Paint Spraying opportunities as the company work to daily deadlines and targets, in return you will receive a salary up to £10.24 per hour depending on experience.
